Idk if every Rural King does this. I also am not sure if people already know abt it...

BUT... they sell these trash bags of straw for a dollar!!!! (from bottom of the trailer, it's what falls off the bales)

It's soft, and not so stiff and the girls seem to love mixing it around in the coop. It mixed so great with my pine shavings and I attribute that to it being "broken down" already.

Just wanted to say something in case it helps cut someone else's bedding price down!!

I know not everyone has access to farms I get whole bails for $2.50 to $3, so I'm sure that is a good option for those who can't.
