A pipped egg doesn't mean it is ready to come out yet!

I see a lot of people posting the egg has pipped and has not done anything. A chick pips to take it's first breath, then it is so happy getting so much oxygen it takes a nap. The fresh oxygen helps the chick finish absorbing the contents, and the veins still in the egg. And it can take up to 24 hrs for an egg to hatch. Be patent. Nothing is wrong.

I know you are excited to see the chick, but they are heathiest if they can hatch on their own.
