A few days ago, I went out to feed my silver pheasants and this is what I found:

Here's the last place I saw them, when I checked late that night:
One of the ladies was sitting on the nest, the rest were on that roost. I don't understand why they got down. I can understand why Zorro got down - to protect his girlfriend. They didn't get down when the wood ducks were chosen as a coon or fox dinner.
I had reinforced the pen after something got the wood ducks. I added the apron along the bottom. I am now collecting rocks to make a rock "wall" under the fence and will put rocks all along the bottom of the fence.
I went to post this a couple time, but it hurt too much to talk about it. I had to let the pain ease a little bit. I had had these 5 silvers for about 9 months. They were really nice. They'd come up and beg for treats. I have another younger pair, and some chicks of theirs. I can't find the pic I had of Zorro and his ladies.
