Did one Gosling hatch?
R u sure she left them and wasnt just going out to eat?
And where did she nest (with other birds about or on her own

This is her 3rd year same place, daddy there, she moved over to the big pond 2nd day. I have fed them everyday for 3yrs at the college pond. She left 1 egg last year full grown

Sometimes the eggs under a broody hen have slightly staggard hatch dates and the hen will leave eggs behind that would otherwise have hatched so she can go care for the chick that did hatch. Ever broody is different but they will only wait so long for the others to hatch. I always have an incubator on standby now just in case but some are just better and being moms than others.
