Here are two 3 week old chicks I ordered recently from a batch of 25. I'm not sure of the breeds, but I know that no bantams were included in the selection. One is extremely small, and slower on feather growth. Is something wrong with her? I've noticed no abnormal feeding or drinking issues.

Here are some pics of Pee-wee. TIA- zookeepersgirl

My suggestion is to add a vitamin and probiotic supplement to the water to make sure there are no deficiencies. It won't hurt the bigger chicks and may help the PeeWee. Also, extra protein snacks for him wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Thank you for answering.

I have been putting antioxidants in their water. What kind of protein snacks?

Mashed cooked egg, insect protein (live or dried), tofu, meat baby food, etc.. Offer chick grit with snacks to help digestion.
