hi everyone, my names Ainsley. I have four chickens that I got for my birthday about one year ago I have learnt a lot from them but still have questions and I'm hoping to find the answers here.

the chickens: I have two roosters and two hens, one rooster is a jersey giant, is name is Dash. the other rooster's name is Blaze and he is the alpha he is half jersey giant and half something else lol, I believe he is also the youngest out of them all by a week. then one of then hens is also full jersey giant and her name is Belle. the last en in the bottom of the pecking order lays green eggs but I have no clue what breed she is.

Belle: Belle is a rebel, I had my chicks fenced but she kept jumping out and made Blaze really mad so I had to free range them.

Snowflake: Snowflake is really pretty and white with some feathers on her legs and is an easter layer but since there are is only 1 hen per rooster in my flock and she is the bottom of the pecking order she keeping getting over mated and has lot 2 patches of fathers on her back but is tuff and keeps moving on

Blaze: He is the youngest in the flock but the alpha and was born with bent toes but still find a way to move on in other habits. he is also not an early bird ( he tries to attack me when I let them out in the morning )

Dash: He is big and clumsy so sometimes I will call him the clumsy ninja since he is all black and stay a bit behind in the flock. he is also somewhat aggressive toward me and my family because he is not the alpha so he tends to take his anger out in that way than in others.

Their daily live / the coop(s): first I had my mom's friends build us a small coop with two nesting boxes ( he was also the guy that gave me the chickens since I really liked his ) and it went on from there, letting them out, changing there food and water, cleaning the coop and finally laying eggs, I had no problem with the laying or the nesting other than the fact that the girls were a month behind the laying due date. ( I'm guessing they started to lay some in the bushes before the nest).

As they got older and I grew a bond with them I decided to want to have more chickens so we cleaned out our old trailer that had a whole bunch of old furniture and our holiday decorations in it and made it into a bigger coop. the only problem I had moving them is the next couple of days with the girls tracing back and forth by the old coop door wanting to lay tier eggs there, but I made it work and showed them their new nesting boxes :)

I think I will stop there and I'm sorry for some of my spelling errors and thank you so much if you read it all. :) :) :D
