(1) My family has had (pet) chickens for a long time, which I wasn’t really involved in, and after our flock of 10 got killed by a raccoon, I’m taking over and starting from scratch. Baby chicks coming soon!
(2) No chickens right now, but six baby hens coming in April!
(3) I’m getting a black Australorp, light brahma, golden laced Wyandotte, lavender orpington, blue splash Maran, and an olive egger!
(4) I love having adorable friends in my backyard, and knowing what's going in the eggs I'm eating, + not supporting the egg industry.
(5) I love photography, music, musical theater, knitting, sewing, just to name a few.
(6) well, I have 2 guinea pigs, 1 dog, and 3 cats!
(7) my chicken keeping friend told me about the community, and I've seen some articles from here come up in my search.
