I have had bantam chickens almost continuously since I was nine years old, when my uncle gave me a trio of mixed Old English. the two hens hid their nest out and brought up a bunch of little chicks. Since then I was hooked. I have raise at one time or another almost all the common breeds and many of the rare breeds. I have experimented with many different types of breeding programs and with most of the different colors over the course of the 62 years since I got my first chickens. I currently only have Ohicki and a breed i am developing for their ability to forage for themselves and their ability as mother hens.
