About Silky Ducks

I've noticed some pictures of Silky's on this board and had a question...

Does anyone know what breed (s) of ducks were used to develop this species?

Darrel Sheraw developed the breed. I'm unsure what breed he started with. Depending on what color you get they are mixed with different breeds. The blacks get bred back to black east indies.
