? about yogurt and garlic

I have read on this forum about the advantages of giving chickens yogurt (live culture) and minced garlic. My guestions is how much of each and how often? I have 25 chickens ranging in age of 13 weeks to 2 year old all hens. Thanks in advance.

Whatever tastes good to you tastes good to them. For 50 hens I usually put about half of a quart jar of yogurt to a full 6 cups of cooked rice and a dozen chopped up boiled eggs. Chopped the garlic and toss it in. Tear up some old bread, throw in some vegetable scraps - it is a feast.

There is no measure. You can give them some yogurt. You can give them some cooked rice. You can mix up pretty much anything you have leftover or when you clean out the frig. They won't be picky.
