Joe G. I started with buying peafowl eggs 3 summers ago off e-bay after reading threads and seeing pics of them here.I had bought my Brinsea incubator to hatch out Marans eggs and Peafowl egg season was just starting so since I already had the bator,why not?
My oldest known peafowl are my black shoulder silver pieds with my beautiful male Roadtrip being 6 years old this year. Mine are not pets but very used to me being around them and I can walk up to them. I will never trade my original breeding pairs-trios or quads but will trade their offspring for other colors-ect.
