Earlier Today I Noticed A Big Yellowish Brown Bump And Swelling On The Left Side Of His Face. The Abscess I Noticed Was Sticking Out Of An Enlarged Pore Not Too Far Under His Eye AT THE CORNER OF THE MOUTH BEFORE THE START Of The Waddle. It Was Rapid Cuz I Didnt Notice A Few Days Ago. I Removed The Dried Top Part Which Let Out A Bad Smelling Pus That Was Semi Solid. I Removed ChuNk After ChuNk With Special Tweezers, Normal Saline, And Peroxide. Im About To Put An Antibiotic Into The Wound After Disenfecting It With More Peroxide And Cleaning Out Any Other Chucks Of Pus.

Any Ideas Of What The Heck This Is And What Caused This Abscess of Sudden Onset ?

I have no idea but sounds like you have it under control.

I'm sure it is, he could have gotten a scrape, cut? an infection set in. if it doesn't look better in a couple of days I'd probably put him on some kind of antibiotic.

If it was thick puss & real smelly, it may be staph. I had a rooster get a small staph infection on his wattle that i had to clean out for about 1.5weeks before the hole finally healed around the insides. That was a couple months ago(i think) and he looks normal now. Baytril is good for staph & you can give it orally.
