access to the outside world

from what age do I give my chicks to an outside run? We have been having frosts here in the north east of England I have no intention of taking the heat lamp away at the moment but I thought I would give them access to the run! They are currently sox weeks old

If they are fully feathered with adult feathers, you can let them chose to be outside or inside. Make sure they have easy access to the warmer area.
