achoo?

Thats an interesting question, I don't think I've ever heard mine sneeze. Thats not saying they haven't. Dust would probably do it, respitory infection, Have you noticed any other symptoms?

no, just our older blue cochin and a younger black australorp are sneezing and other then that they're just like everyone else

Is it constant? could be the start of something but maybe just try some electrolytes or poultry drench before any antibiotics, how long has this been going on? Do you have any oxine?

Chickens sneeze like any other animal. It could be from dust in the coop, etc. It sounds similar to a cat sneezing. Unless it's frequent and they have a runny nose along with it, it's normal.

ETA: It doesn't always sound like a cat sneezing. One of my EEs honks when she sneezes.

i dont think we have any of that stuff
we have some vitomins like the kind u give babies; we put that in the chicks water tho..would that help any?

Is it a vitamin supplement like Poly-vi-sol? Check to be sure it doesn't contain iron. If you think they're feeling under the weather you can go ahead and give it to them. I typically do a dropperful to a gallon of water.

read this thread about oxine when I did I ordered some. wwwshagbarkbantams.com you can actually google it right here and read it. All the best, Trish
