So 5/10 of my flock consisted of roosters, now that we ate them, my chickens are acting wired, they became flighty and one even flew away. i have to force them out the coop and when they do come out they are in "alert mode" and acting wired. they are only staying outside for 10 min. then run back to the coop. they are about 2-3 months old, but this time I will add 4 more confirmed grown egg layers. Is it normal for chicken to act paranoid when things like this happen?

Was the removal of the roosters from the flock a recent thing? Chickens like their routine and any change to their world will will upset them for a bit. They'll get their pecking order straightened out, they'll get used to going back outside by themselves and they'll settle down. If you add more chickens to the mix, they'll get discombobulated all over again, but again will work things out.
