Action emojis

BYC - is there any way to remove or a setting to avoid animated emojis? I get some people think it's "cutesy" but for those of us with eye issues it's a matter of health. I can't read when there is spastic movement buried in the thread. Or deleting from a thread when they are used as an avatar.

It's an extreme measure, but using the 'Ignore' function should work.

Nothing can/will be done about it, but I can relate @MrPaw .
The spastic animated avatars really bother my eyesight and makes it hard to read to page/posts. I've actually put a postit over them on some days.

There are extensions for browsers that block animated items. For example:

It works. I found this on several sites about stopping gif animations. This url will walk you through the simple process for Firefox (what I use) and Chrome.

Update: The above directions work. But it's accross the board. Every url will be effected. Even Pinterest. I reversed the above directions and did a restart. All is back to normal. Guess I will go back to using stickyNotes to cover the left side of the screen and just not read replies with animations. Oh well.
