So I was prepping my shopping list, and noticed that some of the pine pellets advertised at TSC have activated charcoal in them. Is this something that I should avoid? I know it's a good thing for picking up smells (and also for getting rid of gas

), but I want to make sure it wouldn't hurt the chickies.

Wouldn't think it would be a problem. It's also used in fish tanks and fish are sensitive to everything, most any water filter you buy for your sink or house, and can be ingested for various reasons but mostly to absorb any poisons.
