Actually a BO?

Hi there! So I got a Buff Orpington from my local feed store, but I noticed something odd this last week, she is starting to get black feathers in her tail and on her wings. She is 5 weeks old. I have never seen this before in BO's ! Is this a male trait? Or could she be mixed with something since she's a hatchery bird?

Looks like possibly a new Hampshire red, or a mix maybe.

Oh well shoot! Ugh I have had three buffs so far, the first two died bc they were sick when we got them from the hatchery, and now this one isn't even a Buff Orpington!

Yeah that's what I'm starting to think because she is a lot lighter than the NHR. So I'm confused!
