Acu-Rite Thermometer

ok, I found this Thermometer and was wondering if this is a good one or not. It also reads humidity. I have been reading that the Acu-rite brand is a good one to get.

It is a household thermometer and only has to be accurate to within 2 degrees by regulation, not near precise enough for incubation. I recommend the Spot Check (also called Egg-Temp depending on who sells it) incubator thermometer. It has a tight accuracy rating and is made for this job. You can order from Cutler Supply or GQF directly.

My first hatch was the acu-rite and it is a junk. I now have a spot check and I love it.

ok, I just bought the spot check from Cutler. What about a hygrometer?

And where do i place the spot check probe in the incubator?

Hi Trilyn, Was that a Hygrometer that you got at Petco or are you talking about a Thermometer?
