Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
We had gotten down to only one egg layer so we just added 3 red layers and 3 bantams. Hopping for at least one or two girls in the bantams. The red layers are suppose to be girls. May add another couple girls but I do not want to add too many for my coop. We are excited about raising them instead of getting older birds.
