I built this last summer. The coop is 4x6 and run is 6x10. I now have 7 hens. What would ya'll suggest would be a way to add to the run, inexpensive; that would be safe (we have hawk problem). They get along fine in coop/run, just wanted to give em little more room. I can't figure out how to add on with the big door in front of run and other in front of coop. There's a carport up against back of it. Just wire roof on addition probably. Thx for suggestions.
Im new at this just finishing up my run for 12 hens 17 x 24. From the looks of your picture I would just extend it out the right side 8 to 12 feet and forward 4 to 8 feet giving it a "L" shape. Probably don't need all that room but at least they'll be comfy.
