Adding Chickens to the flock

I am thinking about getting more chickens to add to my flock,how can I interrogate them peacefully together ? I have had pecking to
death before and cannibalism

, How do I avoid it?

The best method is the "see but don't touch." This is where you put the new ones behind wire so they can't be reached by the others but can still meet them. Here are some links on that.

yes, you can take a small cage and place the new ones in t and then place the cage with he new members into the coop

I am going to have a pen with a RIR roo. I am expecting EE chicks soon. The RIR is about 5 weeks old and I was wondering If I can put a pullet in there along with the rooster.
