Adding chicks to my ducks!

I am probably doing the opposite than anyone ever who gets chickens, then adds ducks eventually but here I am lol

I have 3 pekin ducks, about 6 months age. I am going to get a few chicks this spring - any advice on integration? Should the ducks and chickens integrate just fine once the chicks are big enough?

My Ducks absolutely hate Chickens. Plan for two separate pens. It's easier.

I have one drake who is extremely docile!

The ducks and chickens usually don't get along too great together and unfortunately usually the ducks gets hurt. Just recently someones chicken almost took their ducks eye out! They might be able to share a run or free range together... but certainly shouldn't be housed together!

Your Drake is only 6 months old. Wait till he is all hormones. He won't be so Docile anymore.

I'm a new duck owner. Obviously. Just looking for nice comments and suggestions please don't hit me with backhanded comments. Everyone has to start somewhere.
