adding chicks to others?

i have 26 chicks arriving in 6 days...and a local pre-school class is incubating 12 eggs for a project and they asked me if i wanted the chicks...but those chicks dont hatch for another twelve days...2 day old chicks to 7 day old chicks>

oo and i dont know the breeds of the preschool chicks

i do it all the time,,, if there is a problem i place everyone together into a new brooder temporary box then move them all back into the brooder again,,,usually works fine.,..
