Adding chicks to the flock

Will it disturb the ladies laying?? We are going to seperate the coop so they are apart but visible to each other. I just really don't want to disturb the rhythm, or lack there of, that our ladies are in now.

From what I have heard (havent had the hens laying eggs experience yet!

) about anything can throw them off. That said, I am sure once they got used to the change, they would continue laying. Just my opinion!
