Unfortunately 2 of my 3 ordered goslings passed away, I now have one three week old unsexed Gosling who is under the lamp with some 3 week old chicks. Would it be okay to order a few more Goslings to join it? They would be 6 weeks younger. I tried finding a gosling its age in my area, but was unsuccessful. The earliest I can receive my order would be the first week of May and my current gosling (brown Chinese) is from March 23rd.

x2 on @Goosebaby's post. Your gosling will need a friend (and friends are even better), but given how quickly goslings grow, there will be a significant size difference at first (until the new goslings catch up), so close supervision will be needed. The older gosling will likely try to "noodle" the younger ones and can end up pulling out down and new feathers if not monitored while in close proximity to the babies.

Condolences on the loss of your two ordered goslings. :hugs

I have ordered more from Metzer Farms, but they wont be here until June 16th... So was wondering if I should add a gosling before then? I will definitely supervise! Right now Murphy is out with 6 baby chicks and that I also supervise, yes, already doing some feather eating... I have given him/her toys, feed grass, hang greens, etc to keep Murphy as busy as possible until I get more geese.
How do geese introduce? Are they as difficult as Chickens and do I have to do it at night?
