Adding to a flock

Has anyone added guinea hens to their chicken flock? I'm going to raise them from chick's, not full grown. Are they hard to integrate? Thank you

I don’t have guineas but my next door neighbor raises them along with their chicken flock and they don’t seem to have a problem. They’re reasoning was the guineas would serve as protection for the chickens and deter predators. I can attest to the fact that they are LOUD so you might want to check on poultry regulations where you live and see if your neighbors are cool with you having guineas. They’re gorgeous birds for sure!

Some have kept guineas with chickens successfully. Others have had problems with how the guineas treat the chickens. I have heard it is worse when they are brooded together. My guineas free range with my chickens, but they are not housed together at night. I have had no problems between the two species.
