Ok,
I havn't posted on the fourms for a long time.
My little baby duckies are growing up :( they are out growing their pen and i need some advice on how i should introduce them to the rest of the ducks. Thanks

Introduce them at night time, when it gets dark put them inside the house with the flock.*

Night time is the best time to introduce poultry to other poultry.

I put my young ducks into a small pen with shade and their own water and food inside the larger adult duck area. They stayed there for a week or so till the newness wore off, and the older ducks weren't picking on them through the fence. Then I let them out to mingle during the day - kept checking to make sure that any picking on was just normal squabbling and that no one was getting too stressed. The new ducks will probably stay mostly in their own group and not mingle too much with your older ducks for a few weeks, but they should do fine!

I've heard of the introducing at night thing for chickens -- never tried it with ducks so I wouldn't know if it was as effective.

I've tried it with ducks a couple of times and always worked a lot better when i done it at night than in day time. That idea with keeping them within the older duck's area inside a fence is a good idea.
