I currently have a flock of 8 saggita hens and one roo (plus 20 brand new hatchlings but I will probably sell most of them). I love all of the different variations of breeds and I want to add to my flock but im not sure that I want to have "mutt" chickens. I should also mention my birds are free range during the day. Is there anything that will stop them from mixing?

No, if you let them free range together, then your various breeds will definitely mix. The only way to make certain that you don't get mixed breeds is to keep them in separate enclosures by breed, or if you are going to free range to have only one breed. One other thing you could do is to have hens of different breeds and have only one breed of rooster identical to some of your hens. If you can tell by looking which eggs are from the same breed of hen as your rooster (by color for example), you could hatch only those eggs.
