Adding to your flock

Just started my flock with 6 black sex link pullets. Have decided to add 6 more in September. Is this going to be a
problem?

Do you have separate pens for each of them? I doubt you will be able to combine those two groups immediately.

Not a problem. Since we're talking about all pullets it will not take them long to sort out the pecking order. After a few brief altercations they'll be fine.

Why not just get 6 more now? That way they'll be closer in age? Not sure about integrating myself, as I have yet to do this, but just a thought.

The place where I order them won't have them again until then.

Just added another six to my flock without a hitch. I was lucky when I called to reorder they had some left from the last batch from people not picking up their orders.
