Adding youngsters to the flock

25 six week olds are the main group and the oldest. Getting a few BO chicks on Wednesday and then 10 EE coming in at the Feds'n Needs a month later. When can I combine them into one group?

Well, if those were mine, I'd keep them separate until the younger onces were about 16 weeks old. But that's just me...

I'm sure someone else will chime in with suggestions.

I would think it would depend on the chickens. I tried to introduce a new serama to our 3 hen flock. She is a hatch mate to 2 of them but I just brought her home. They were not tolerant at all and I felt so bad for her. They weren't hurting her but she's a tiny girl compared to her sisters so I stuck her in with my 3 week old isa pullets. They get along just fine but they are all about the same size.
