Adjusting incubator temperature mid-incubation?

Lately I have been having a lot of my chicks hatch out weaker and smaller than usual, and poor hatch rates. I suspected my thermometer was broken, so I bought a new thermometer, and low and behold, my incubator is 96 F instead of the 99.5 F it was set to be.

I currently have a batch of call duck eggs in the incubator. Will raising the temperature gradually kill them?

Day 24, and another incubator day 3.

I dont know what you should do.

Me, i would raise it a teeny tiny bit at a time every hour until its at proper temp.
