I have adopted 3 chickens from the county shelter in my area. they always have chickens! They are housed in dog kennels and it's pretty pathetic seeing them there inbetween the dogs. they always have ducks, chickens, occasionally turtles and tortoises (in a dog kennel too) I had calls about pigs........this is a suburban area. it's crazy what you find homeless.
