Dear Friends of Waterfowl,
Please find the list of birds at the rescue who currently are available for adoption. Just a quick note that if you haven't adopted from us before and your interested in adopting we need to get some information from you on how you plan to keep your ducks in a pen or a pond. I spend a lot of time writing to people for this information. If your out of the area we won't consider you for an adoption unless you submit photos of your ducks set up. So before we spend a lot of time talking about what is here we need to get the photos out first.
Pekin Ducks
We have about 10 Pekin (white) ducks left over after easter. Some have been raised indoors so they need a safe environment. They are feathered and ready to go. Take one or take them all!
Cayugas
I have a pair of Cayugas that need a home. One has a crest and is super cute. They were hand raised and and very friendly. They must stay together. They are almost feathered and just growing in some wings. They came in with a pair of pekins so if possible we woudl prefer them to stay with their family but I am also willing to sort the breeds for adoptions.
White Chinese Goose Needs Home
We have a white Chinese Goose who would love to find a family of geese to hang out with. If you have room for an extra goose let us know. He is 8 years old and likes to warn us if anyone comes around the rescue who isnt supposed to be there. he makes a great watchdog.
Muscovy Mania
Muscovy Mania is still going on here at CWR. The eggs from the round up have hacthed and we know have about 20 scovy ducklings who will need a home. If you prefer to wait until they are feathered just let me know and I can reserve them for you. They are great for roaming around and eating insects.
Food Lion Shop and Share
We are now being forced to pay rent on our facility. So in order to be able to continue to help the ducks and provide you with adoptions we are participating in the Food Lion Shop and Share program. All you need to do to help is out is reply to this email with your name, phone and the food lion card numbers. Thats It!

Please be sure to get all 12 digits of the card as show in the photo.
last but not least!
hurt duck: This guy needs a home where he can live in a pen and eat from a bowl. He is a mixed duck but is super handsome.
Although he looks a little rough he does just fine eating from a bowl. So he realyl wont require special care. All he needs is a safe place and a few companions.
We are not open to the public. People can only visit the rescue after we have pre-approved you for adoptions. Unfortunately we do not have staff therefore can not take people just to "visit" and see the ducks.
Thank You for your support of the rescue, we couldn't save the animals without your help.
Sincerely,
--The Rescue Team at CWR
