Hi,

I have a rooster that I cannot keep because of where we live. He is a blue cuckoo maran from my pet chicken. He hatched mid November 2020, and has good genes. If you are thinking about adopting him, please let me know. Do not use him for meet because he holds a special place in my heart.

Where are you located? You could try advertising him on Craig's list. If you don't want him to be somebody's dinner, put a price on him. Even $15 is enough for him to not be freezer camp bound.

He is gorgeous. I have 5 hens looking for a strong protective gentleman. I'm in Chicago. I need a rooster that is fully vaccinated. Did he get his Maraks disease vaccine at 1 day old? If yes- lets talk!

I have never eaten one of my chickens. I never could!!
