Adopting a 4 year old chicken

Well tommorrow is my big day my new
Chicken set up and chicken arrives.

She is a hybrid gold. She is 4 but not laying. Is this right! Will she lay again or do I trade her for some new ones?

She probably is at the end of her laying days. Did you expect to have her as a pet?

I'm not sure. I want a laying one. Happy to rehome her. Found some places that take on older hens
