I am adopting a lovebird, I know a lot about them but was interested in hearing people´s personal experience.

Following. I've never had a love bird, though. Can't wait for pics!
Yes, I have a certain one in mind but another person is looking at her this Friday. If they are not interested I am next to look, yay! She is a Sex-Linked American Cinnamon White-Faced Violet Lovebird. :love

are they noisy?
They are chatty and have high-pitched sounds. They like to scream and mimic whistles and screeches. Comparing them to a conure, they are not noisy. To budgies and cockatiels, they are shrill. They are the noisiest when they want something.

I want a talking parrot!
Yes, lovebirds would not be good for you then. They are known for the lack of speech. Sadly, a lot of people do get parrots just to hear them mimic sounds. Parrots are really intelligent, very emotional, and definitely expensive.

I would definitely take good care of it, I was just saying it would be cool to really hear a parrot talk. :)
