Adopting Adult Muskovys

I am getting a pair of adult Muskovys and am wondering do I need to contain them awhile until they understand this is home? We have a large property and will free range them for bug control. Any other advice? Thanks!

Hi, since your run is big enough you don't have to contain them for any long period of time. Keeping them in a coop overnight should settle them in; and if you're worried about them flying out just clip one of the wings and that'll keep them grounded.
