Adult beginner with 12 chicks and I need help getting that best coop

There is no "best coop". There is only your coop.

Not to be compared to another persons. Look at many, steal
the ideals you like and put them in your coop.

Changing on the coop can be part of the fun. Always getting better,
getting bigger.

You'll always have just one more ideal for that best coop.

Please keep us updated on how your hubby feels about the chickens; it would not surprise me at all to hear that they have managed to worm their way into his heart; chickens have a knack for doing that.

I think the shed option is a good one. If you pop ‘converting a shed’ into the BYC search you will see that there are quite a few threads on the subject.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
