Adult hen being agressive toward new chick

I have a buff orp pullet that I got as a tiny chick for my broody girl who would not get off the nest. The chick was rejected and attacked so I've been raising her separate from my other two. Now she is bigger and I tried to reintroduce her and the same hen was aggressive toward her again. Is there any chance for the new hen to be accepted by the aggressive hen when she gets larger?

Yes and expect some pecking when you reintroduce a chicken they have to develop a pecking order this may take a few days

Also try to introduce them at night time.

OK great, I'm glad to hear that she can be accepted. How old should she be before I put her in with the others? When I tried to reintroduce today I didn't get past the older hen raising her feathers and puffing up before I took her out. This is her now.
