My adult hen, almost two years old, has a really dry/flaky butt. I cannot tell what is actually on her or if it's just extremely dry? Advise please?

Could just be an accumulation of dirt, debris, poop - hard to know.

Give her a good soaking and a little cleanup using just a bit of Original Dawn dish soap.
Gently clean the area with a rough washcloth.
Dry her very well afterward and inspect the skin. If it looks dry and flaky afterwards, then apply a little oil (coconut or mineral) to the skin.

Ty. I was worried it may be mites or some sort of infection.
