adult hen..woke up with curly toes foot like a fist

hi all..my name is Carolyn..im from new New Zealand..i rescue abandoned chooks..on the side of highway..people have been dumping unwanted poultry at this spot for years..i drive past each day..feed and water these homeless birds..and check on them from day to day..humans can be so nasty to these chooks due to being on an isolated part of a state highway..i will take home any chook looking unwell or not handling a life close to a road..i brought home a big girl..she's white with black bits in her feathers..rather pretty girl..but just wasnt looking happy..so i brouught her home..but after a couple of wks she has woken with curled toes fist like on one foot..i have treated her for mites..given vitimins in water shes eating well..all but not being able to walk properly due to her toes curled up..she doesnt look young id say shes more then a few years old..can anyone advise what has happened and is it fixable?

thank u for letting me know..im hoping its not to serious..im thinking only positive thoughts..hoping it be an easy fix and she will be fine..

Sorry to hear about the hen.

You can try giving her 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily to see if that helps.

Does she lays eggs? Feel her abdomen below the vent between her legs, is there any bloat/swelling or fluid? Sometimes reproductive issues can cause some issues with legs.
