Adults and teenagers

How old do the teens need to be before we can add them to the adults? I know they will peck them a little I just dont want the adults to kill the younger ones.

Generally, it's best to wait until they are about the same size as the older ones.

Sometimes it goes a bit easier if they are next to each other with a common fence between them, then when it is time to integrate them they are somewhat used to each other, then I free ranging them together, but I watch them closely the first few times I let them range together. I had one big girl jump on a younger one and really started to go to town on the smaller one. I kicked the older one clean across the yard. She hasn't done it again. Also when it came to treat time, I banished her for a couple of days. She could see the others getting treats. I gave a little extra treats to the little one where the big one could see. I am mean I know. Reward for good behavior and punishment for bad behavior.
