Advice for a sort of new puppy owner?

Look how big she's getting! And she is definitely showing her husky side, and not just her looks.

Seriously, though, she's a handful and stubborn, but I can tell she is going to be a very good dog when she's grown. She's started barking at people she doesn't know. I try to discourage it, but I kinda think it's a good thing. Found out a previous tenant still comes around trying to steal things, like the tractor.

So having a dog that barks isn't a bad thing, I guess, but I'm trying to teach her manners. lol. She's doing really well with the potty training. She STILL will go outside, pee, then come in the house and immediately pee on the rug just inside the back door! wth? Never had a dog do that. Does it mean she's too busy to pee all the way (she is definitely busy these days!), or should I be concerned about a UTI or something? But she's been going outside the great majority of the time. She is crate trained, and I feed her twice a day, though she has started barely eating her dinner. She knows sit and lie down, but she still doesn't come when I call her more than half the time. She's learning, though!
