Hello everyone!

Spring must be here because my chicks arrived today.
Of coarse they are all mixed up and I can't tell my Cochins from my Faverolles. Both are solid yellow and feather legged.
Any advice?

Also I have 2 Olive Eggerrs and 2 Easter Eggers. Any way to tell them apart even after they have feathered out a little. I probbaly have to wait until they lay an egg right?

I know my RIR and Leghorns.

Lastly I got sent some White Crested Blue Polish as fill ins. Any way to tell male from female?

I will post pics if you think it will help.

Best,

Chris Brown

Your salmon favorelles should have 5 toes on each foot and a beard. Cochins don't have beards and only 4 toes.

Agree on the cochin vs faverolle.
No way to tell EE from OE, unless the OE cross used a feather legged Marans.
No way to sex Polish I'm aware of until they get sex feathers or grow the top hat out some.

8 or 9 weeks are a good time to sex polish. By then it is pretty easy to tell by the top hat
