Advice needed for doing the deed....

It was suggested to me to electricute the layers, as I cannot do the axe thing. I can't even chop wood that stays still...lol. Would a cattle prod work? I don't eat them, I just grind them up for dog food, but I need the end to be quick and painless for them. Any suggestions?

No, you are right on the money...I think the problem with the people you are describing is that we have 2 generations of Americans who have never known hunger....If people ever had to watch their children go hungry they wouldn't think twice about killing a chicken, or any other animal for that matter. In many other countries today people buy, sell, and eat rats and dogs to get their protien. Americans are spoiled, and the animal rights & vegan movement are the results.

I couldn't have said better myself. While vegetarianism** is practiced in many places besides here, it is invariably a result of either food shortage or genuine religious belief.

** ...this is another thing I wonder about - why do we have feel the need to give ourselves a title for everything. People arent content with being a vegetarian; no they gotta be a "Vegan." They can't be a trash collector, they have to be Munipal Sanitation Specialits. Why is that?​
