I do egg swaps on here and a few other sites. I had a lady contact me and tell me she wanted my 4 peacock eggs, she would trade me 10 goose and 12 duck eggs for them... I said ok. Well she then proceeded to tell me that she wanted them shipped a certain way... She told me she wanted them wrapped in paper towell, then in 2 layers of newspaper, nested in shredded paper. So i did, exactly the way she wanted it.... I usually wrap them in bubble wrap, with shredded paper and more bubble wrap, but they were going to be her eggs so i did it her way. It took her 2 days to give me her mailing addy, after i told her the eggs needed to be shipped ASAP, they are time sensitive. Well the eggs got there on day 7, she emailed me complain cause the eggs were "old" and that one had broken during shipment, but all the others were "fine" air sacs were all in great shape... 2 days later i got an email stating that the air sacs were not ok , then today i got an email stating that 2 were broken during shipment, one was developing, and she wasnt sure about the "OLD" one...She also then told me that she was only sending me half of what she was supposed to...AND she wants me to SEND HER MORE EGGS!!!!FREE!!!Now please tell me if Im wrong but, I shipped them HER way! She is telling me way to many inconsistant stories about these eggs, NOT holding up on her end of the bargain, and now she wants more......What should I do????????I am P*ssed Off because, i feel like i am being taken for a ride... I need advice ASAP on how to handle this.. ANY advise would be appreciated, before i answer another cry baby whining inconsistant email...PLEASE HELP!!!
PS.
Last i knew chicken eggs were good for up to 7 days, ducks 12, and goose up to 15 before you incubate...i have been incubating myself for about 3 years So i would imagine that the "OLD" peacock eggs would be just fine...Correct me if im wrong...
