So I understand there is a risk with all shipped eggs, and I’m in no way trying to fault the seller!!

I had gotten 6 fertile silkie hatching eggs from eBay along with 6 larger breed hatching eggs from another seller.
I got both packages on Thursday May 26 around 10am and I let them sit until 10 pm that night when I put them under my broody hen foghorn (she’s been sitting on fake eggs for a week by then and has been very consistent in not getting off the nest besides 2 times a day to eat n scratch around a bit n then goes back) . I candled yesterday and I can see developments in most of the larger eggs but the silkies eggs seem completely clear with no development? Was there anything I should’ve done different, is it hard to see silkie eggs developing ( first time attempting to hatch silkie eggs) and how long should I wait to take them out are they no longer good? I can post pictures if needed tonight!!!!

Leave them under the hen for a couple more days and then candle; just to be sure. Likely, the results will be the same. Only the dark and colored shell eggs are harder to view development.

Some have what I believe are speckles all over them so those are difficult for me to see as well but 3 days sound okay and then candle then?

So update not a single egg showed development out of the silkie eggs the other 6 larger breeds are doing great tho!!🥹🥲

Just Leave them under her.
You have nothing to lose and chicks to gain. I don't even candel eggs. I just let them be under the broody until they either hatch or not.
I would love to do that but I was told there’s a high possibility that she could be a bad mama n hurt the babies, just by pecking them or not protecting them
