Advice needed...thanks!

I have 4 Pilgrim geese. My gander, Clyde, has grown a very long toe nail (it's almost an inch long) and I am just wondering if I can clip it? I don't want him to get it caught and end up tearing it off, but I don't know if I should do that or not. I cut my cats all the time, but just not sure about birds

Alittle off the end won't hurt, you can smooth it too so it doesn't catch the rough edges after trimming.
