ADVICE NEEDED!!WET OR DRY CRUMBLE

I just picked up my babies from the PO...got them home,checked everybody out,gave water,all going well and getting ready to feed -- and for the life of me I cant remember if their first food should be wet or dry crumble...they are very hungry and pecking around after every little thing...advice appreciated!!

I've never given my birds wet crumble, personally....

The first day I got my guineas (who were very stressed by a bad post office experience) I gave them wet crumbles mixed with a little sugar. They went bonkers over it. The second day, they ignored it and seemed to prefer the dry crumbles.

I gave mynew chicks wet crumbles on the first day and they wouldn't touch it.

I gave the untouched mixture to my 9 weeks old birds and they devoured it. Go figure.
